At the Institute of Climate Change and Environment (ICCE) of Gazipur Agricultural University, we believe that sustainability is not simply an add-on but the very foundation of our academic mission. In a world facing deep and interconnected environmental challenges, our curriculum emphasizes how sustainable development must guide everything we do: from learning to research to community engagement. Our MS and PhD programs offer dedicated core courses such as Circular Economy for Environmental Sustainability, Climate Action and Low-Carbon Development, and Climate Diplomacy and Negotiation. These courses enable students to understand the multiple dimensions of sustainability—economic, ecological, social—and their alignment with the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). By embedding the SDGs across our modules, we ensure graduates are equipped not just to analyse sustainability issues but to design innovations and policies that support SDG-aligned outcomes.
